Bishop's Cleeve is a large village in Gloucestershire, just north of Cheltenham and east of Tewkesbury. Lying within Tewkesbury Borough boundaries, the Parish is divided into three wards which each have serving Parish Councillors in addition to the elected Borough and County Councillors.

The Parish Council operates on a Committee Basis. Committees comprise up to nine elected members and may have delegated authority to make decisions and spend an allocated budget. The Powers and Duties that the Parish Council can use, or delegate to its committees, are restricted by Law.

The full Parish Council meets in the Parish Office on Church Road at 7.30pm on the first Thursday of each month (except for August), and parishioners are welcome to attend and to speak in the Public Session. It's best to let the Clerk know in advance that you plan to attend, and the Chair will invite you to speak at the start of the meeting. Our contact details are here.

    This is an opportunity to have a rare guided tour of the Anaerobic Digestion facility and see how Andigestion treats all the food waste collected from your homes.

  • Council Surgeries for Residents

    12.30pm - 2.30pm in the Council Offices, Church Road, GL52 8LR.
    The surgery runs on the first Friday of each month.  Next Surgery Date: 5th August
    Residents are welcome to drop-in to discuss with Councillors any issues.

The Council is particularly interested in contractors with experience in grass cutting, grounds maintenance, play areas and play equipment maintenance, tree works, general building maintenance, information technology, caretaking and cleaning.   • Citizens Advice Bureau

    Citizens Advice Bureau offers free advice at the Council Offices on Mondays from 10 am to 2pm. This is a drop-in service and clients will be seen on a first come first served basis.
